PC to Basic Stamp 2 Programming

The Basic Stamp 2 is connected to the PC via serial cable. You need to solder some wire connections onto the serial port and shove those wires down your breadboard sockets and connect it to pins 1-4 in order to program the Basic Stamp 2.

This does not work for the Basic Stamp 1 because the Basic Stamp 1 ONLY uses the parallel port while the Basic Stamp 2 ONLY uses the serial port.
