What's your most annoying error?

This error I'm working on fixing right now... I'm installing photoshop, and when it gets to 99%, it has a "data1.cab" is corrupt error and the progress bar goes backwards. SO ANNOYING!

Allen: Its probably your registry, just use ccleaner.

As for me, most of mine are caused directly by me. On my old computer I used to overheat like crazy... but now there isn't really anything wrong at all.

My most annoying error is a dead-heat tie between 2 problems (on my new computer)

1) Same as Allen, Firefox just crashes on me like crazy, almost every week
2) There's this one or two websites that any time I run either one, the dial on the side of the screen for the cpu- ram usage (windows vista) goes to 99% stays there for like 5 minutes, then kicks me out of Firefox.

So annoying.

My old computer is a whole other story. The microprocessor for the laptop was way to big for the little fan to cool, so I needed to cool it down with ice.

Ugh, I have registry issues now. Somehow, it got corrupted and windows cannot even startup. I think I'm gonna give up, install windows to another hdd, then load my old one as an external. Good to get a fresh start anyway.

I can, and I restored the registry to the default. After some fiddling, I got it to at least load windows, but it's all weird, because the registry is basically gone. The reason I can't fix it: Because of some registry/driver thing not being loaded, I can't use a mouse or keyboard. Nothing shows up. I can use the keyboard on the boot menu/recovery console, but it and the mouse don't work when windows itself is running) I think it may be time to reinstall anyway, five years is getting kind of old. Well, at least I can be thankful that all my data, etc is still there on the hdd.
Also- I tried to restore the registry from the sys.restore (C:\System Volume Information\), however, this can only be done though windows itself (requiring a mouse...), and Recovery console won't let me even open the sys.restore folder. ("Access to this folder is denied for recovery console")


-sigh- I've been spending all day trying to keep my mind off it so I don't go in to another panic attack. It got pretty bad this morning. Difficult to form coherent sentences o type. (Kept typing "C:\wondows\") On the bright side, I used PS3 to keep my mind off it and I'm almost done with Jedi Apprentice.
