USB Multiboot Empty USB Multiboot

Post by Unchained Tue Dec 01, 2009 9:32 am

So yea I got an 8 gig flash during black Friday and have spent a WHILE looking up how to do what I need. Maybe I'll help someone with this, maybe not, I'm just doing it because I told Allen I would.

I intend to do this:
Full installation of Backtrack Linux onto my new USB drive.
Then I will use Grub to choose boot into 2 separate ISOs of Tinfoilhat Linux and the windows recovery console.

Sounds good you say?
Well it only is because I did some research because I didn't know you could boot ISOs from GRUB. Pretty big fail there.

Code:

title Freedos V9
kernel /boot/memdisk
initrd=/images/freedos.img
title Ranish Tool V2.44
kernel /boot/memdisk
initrd=/images/ranish.img

To the best of my knowledge Unetbootin doesn't support multiple OSes on the same partition.

Yup totally 1% man.

Oh yea and its a Unix ripoff, not Linux.

I was tempted before making my final decision but nah, those 3 should do everything I need.

By the way, its good to have a networking background if you are going to use BackTrack and to be super paranoid if using Tinfoil Hat.
