hmm 500 posts and we still havn't done any real programming (... damn compilers havn't been installed yet thanks to lazy ass etis )

Why don't you just bring your netbook and program on that, or use it as a server?

never needed to do it before

I believe its under a folders properties on XP, select "share this folder" or something like that. Then on the other computers setup a network drive, Cisco 1-2 students can do this, I assume you have 1 in your club.

our club meets during lunch twice a week. must i set this up every time?

it would be A LOT easier to just get the damn programs installed on the stations already
