I never was. Your idea is nothing like how I specified. We are NOT using it. Some backgrounds like forests, villages, dungeons, etc. The perspective of the game is..... unique. Basically, the background will work if they're either top-down, or like half between side and top. Also, what works a lot is making the ground top-down, but the objects and buildungs angled.

Remind me to show you a game I have sometime called "Rune Factory 2." By complete coincidence (not being sarcastic) the engine for the game is almost -exactly- the same as the one I'm making.
