I never was. Your idea is nothing like how I specified. We are NOT using it. Also, I tnik story writers should at least spell things right, or maybe even write coherently.

Some backgrounds like forests, villages, dungeons, etc. The perspective of the game is..... unique. Basically, the background will work if they're either top-down, or like half between side and top. Also, what works a lot is making the ground top-down, but the objects and buildungs angled.

Remind me to show you a game I have sometime called "Rune Factory 2." By complete coincidence (not being sarcastic) the engine for the game is almost -exactly- the same as the one I'm making.
